About the Mandal
Tradition, culture, community and togetherness
The story, the people and the values behind Shree Siddhivinayak Sanskrutik Mandal.
Introduction
Who we are
श्री सिद्धिविनायक सांस्कृतिक मंडळ (Shree Siddhivinayak Sanskrutik Mandal) is the residents' cultural mandal of Spaghetti Co-operative Housing Society, Sector-15, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Registered as Regd. No. Maha/483/2011 (Raigad), F 9244 (Raigad), the Mandal was founded in 2005 and, in 2026, celebrates the 22nd year of its public Ganeshotsav.
Inspired by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak's vision of using public Ganeshotsav and Shiv Jayanti celebrations to bring people together and build civic awareness, the Mandal has preserved that same spirit of cultural tradition and social responsibility within our own community for over two decades.
Vision & Mission
What guides us
Our vision
To preserve and pass on our cultural traditions — Ganeshotsav foremost among them — while strengthening the sense of unity, care and shared responsibility among every resident of our society.
Our mission
To organise inclusive festivals and cultural programmes for every age group, and to act — through health camps, blood donation, tree plantation and relief work — whenever our community or our wider society needs us, as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Kolhapur, Chiplun and Sangli floods.
